Introducing Kitchen Coalition! Since the beginning

Introducing Kitchen Coalition! Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have partnered with Second Harvest Heartland to provide freshly prepared meals in our community.

Kitchen Coalition was formerly called Minnesota Central Kitchen. The program launched in March 2020 as a crisis-inspired initiative to rescue food, re-employ furloughed restaurant workers, and get urgently needed meals to a growing community of people facing hunger. As the initiative has evolved the name needed to as well. Collectively we wanted a name that better communicated our work. There is nothing central about our network of restaurants and caterers and we feed people beyond Minnesota!

Artisans & Spice and The Fhima Family concepts remain committed to Kitchen Coalition’s mission to ensure every neighbor has a meal that is right for them!
